TODAY IS FTD Good Neighbor Day, where you can get some free flowers. You’re supposed to keep some for yourself and give some to a neighbor. Read about it here. In the past, people have been given 2 flowers.  “They say it’s like the 9 year, but I’ve never heard of it.  I guess I am not a good neighbor.”

I’ve always gone by the rule that a good neighbor is one your “rarely” see and one you “NEVER” hear.

    Hey DJ,
You and I think a lot a like. :) I too don’t bother my neighbors and they don’t bother me. I am nice but I don’t want them in my house or in my business. I grew up with a momma that talked to everybody and I she always had drama with the neighbors I don’t like drama.
I talk to my neighbors on the sidewalk about things that you could talk to anybody about. I don’t want to know what they are cooking for dinner or how much money they make.
I’ll call the cops if I see people braking in or try and help if they look like they are hurt. That’s what I call a good neighbor.
